The UK regulatory pathway
Preparing within Britain’s emerging framework
The UK Government’s developing Automated Passenger Services framework provides a pathway for approved self-driving passenger services. Deployment will require the appropriate vehicle, operator and service approvals, together with engagement and consent from relevant local authorities and transport bodies where required.
